Prime Minister (PM) Gordon Brown promised the UK would provide subsidies every purchase of one unit of electric cars around 2000 Pounds Sterling, or Rp 36 million.Daily Daily Telegraph reports that Gordon Brown will announce the provision of subsidy on 22 April this year.
Environmentally friendly car subsidy say this will be provided in two types, namely electric car buyers will get discount and direct method is the other electric car buyers must fill out an application form to get cash back (cashback) after purchase electric cars.
UK government will also hold intensive meetings with the company provider of electricity (electricity suppliers) to build the infrastructure of the station back to the car battery litsrik.
According to the UK automotive industry association, about 179 units of electricity terregistrasi cars throughout the year 2008 total of 2.12 million units of the new car terregistrasi.
